Stewardship - A Way of Life
What is stewardship?
Everything we have is a gift from God. As Christians we receive these gifts gratefully, cultivate them responsibly, share them lovingly in justice with others, and return them with increase to the Lord.
Stewardship is being a disciple of Jesus. A steward makes God's love visible by imitating Jesus. The more deeply one grows in love for God, the more one grows in heart to see stewardship as a way of life, a way of love, imitating God's love for us.
Just think! If everything is a gift from God, we own nothing! All we “own,” comes from God and is freely given. It is what we do with these gifts He gives us that defines Stewardship.

The Stewardship Committee continues to remain active and is looking for additional members. We have lots of ideas but need help executing them.
We here at St. Therese hope all of our parishioners will embrace a stewardship way of life. The commitment we ask of all parishioners, young and old, is to prayerfully discover your gifts and gratefully share them here at the parish and with those outside the parish. -

The Stewardship Committee
The Stewardship Committee supports the Parish Council in implementing the Parish Plan. The committee works with the Welcoming Committee and strives to educate and communicate the Stewardship message to our parishioners. The committee sponsors CliftonStrengths workshops for adults (Living Your Strengths), young adults (ages 18 - 25) and High School Students (CliftonStrengths for Students) to determine their God-given strengths. We all have gifts from God, join us, and use yours!
Want to learn more? Attend a meeting to learn all the ways we are Doing God's Work with Our Hands. The Stewardship Committee meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm. Meetings are by zoom until further notice. -

Stewardship Prayer
My parish is composed of people like me. I help make it what it is.It will be friendly, if I am.
It will be holy if I am.
Its pews will be filled if I help fill them.
It will do great work, if I work.
It will be prayerful, if I pray.
It will make generous gifts to many causes, if I am a generous giver.
It will bring other people into its worship and fellowship, if I invite and bring them.
It will be a parish of loyalty and love of fearlessness and faith, if I who make it what it is, am filled with these same things.
Therefore, with your help, O God, I shall dedicate myself to the task of being all the things that I want my parish to be.
Amen.
