Pillar of Service

'...Amen I say to you, whatever you did for the least of my brothers, you did for me.' Matt. 25:40

Service is that place where we take stock of our personal gifts, our individual strengths and discern where God may be calling us to put our faith into action.  The Pillar of Service brings into practice the other three pillars.
 

• Learn what your individual strengths are by taking the Living Your Strengths (Adults) or CliftonStrengths for Students (teens) workshop

• Family and friends
• Parish ministries
• Charitable organizations outside of the  parish

• Visiting someone who lives alone, or is homebound or incarcerated
• Feeding the hungry (ex: contributing to or coordinating a food drive, serving at the FeedNC Soup Kitchen)
• Helping to build a house for Habitat for Humanity

• Volunteer at a charitable organization
