Women with SOUL will be meeting this year twice a month - once for a book study and once to work on our prayer and service project, "God Loves Me". Meeting dates and a description of the project are below and attached in the documents section. All women of the Parish are welcome to participate in one or both of these gatherings. The book is short and you are welcome to join any time! Additional dates to work on our service project will be added as needed. God Bless You!
If you are unable to join us in person, we invite you to join us in spirit by praying "God Loves Me" - A Prayer for the Young Girls and Women of St. Therese either at group meetings you attend or individually as often as the Holy Spirit moves you to pray for our sisters in Christ. The prayer is at the bottom of this page and is also attached in the documents section. Feel free to print and share!

“God Loves Me”
Mission Statement: To lift up the young girls and women of St. Therese by sharing God’s love with them.
It is our calling to spread this message of love and to help build a strong community of young girls and women who know and feel they are loved by God. The hope is that this love will give them a confidence and strength that will enable them to have positive relationships and enjoy lives of love and service dedicated to God and full of the freedom, peace and joy that God desires for them.
Many of the girls and women in our parish are facing obstacles in their lives that prevent them from experiencing the true love of God. Women with SOUL (Sharing Our Unwavering Love for God) invite you to join us in prayer for our girls and women as they face issues of low self-esteem, loneliness, abandonment, poor body image, bullying, rejection, poor health, etc. Our desire is to share with them the eternal and perfect love that God has for them. His love will never disappoint and He is always faithful to us. With your help, we can lift them up in prayer and send the Holy Spirit to move in their lives and hearts.
In addition to the prayer component of this project, we will be working with the middle school and high school girls on two service projects within the parish. One will honor the girls and women of the parish in the spring and the other will honor the children making their First Communion in May. It is a worthy, lofty goal that will require many hands to see its fruition. In addition to joining us in prayer, we would love for you to share your talents of time and craftiness in these service projects.
Dedication:
This project is dedicated to Michelle Bischoff. Michelle had a real heart for young girls and a heart for service. She was an incredibly kind and giving person. She didn’t hesitate to share whatever she had to help those in need. Her joyful laugh brought smiles to many faces! Michelle was greatly admired by many, many people for her big and loving heart and the impact she had on those whose lives she touched will never be forgotten.
Thank you for your time and prayerful consideration of joining us in project “God Loves Me”
"God Loves Me" - A Prayer for the Young Girls and Women of St. Therese
Praise the Lord, who is so good, God’s love endures forever.
Praise the God of heaven, God’s love endures forever!
Thank you God, that though the mountains may leave their place and the hills be shaken, Your love shall never leave us.
To You we lift up the young girls and women of St. Therese in prayer. We ask that you reveal yourself to all of us in a very real and powerful way. Help us all to recognize, believe in, and feel your love for us. Remind us that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. May we live each day in the light of your love, knowing we are precious in your eyes and glorious and you love us.
Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Jesus Christ, pray for us.
St. Therese, pray for us.
St. Gemma, pray for us.
St. Pauline, pray for us.
In memory of Michelle Bischoff and as a Special Intention for her family, we pray...
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
