           INQUIRY SESSIONS

Every fall St. Therese has a short series of classes on "What Do Catholic's Believe?" These  classes explore key beliefs of the Roman Catholic Church. They are opened to everyone, Catholics and non-Catholics.

There is absolutely no pressure to join the Catholic Church. However, these classes are a  pre-requisite for anyone interested in joining the Roman Catholic Church through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. For information contact Deacon John at

CREMATION

The Vatican has granted permission for the U.S. Bishops to allow funeral Masses to be celebrated in the presence of cremated remains. Although cremation is now permitted, Catholic teaching still prefers the burial of the body and if the body is cremated, prefers that cremation take place after the Mass of Christian Burial.
